The Praetor 600 is Embraer’s super-midsize jet, developed from the Legacy 500 and entering service in 2019. Fly-by-wire controls, a spacious flat-floor cabin and class-leading range let it fly long intercontinental sectors. It sits at the top of Embraer’s midsize offering.
Embraer announced the Praetor 600 in October 2018 and achieved triple certification from ANAC, EASA and the FAA by mid-2019, with first deliveries that June. It is a longer-range development of the Legacy 500 and the flagship of Embraer’s Praetor line, sitting above the Praetor 500 in the super-midsize class.
Two Honeywell HTF7500E engines are combined with a Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion flight deck of four 15.1-inch displays and a full fly-by-wire flight control system. The flat floor cabin stands 6 feet tall and 6 feet 10 inches wide, holds a very low 5,800 foot cabin altitude, and includes a full wet galley and an enclosed rear lavatory with a vacuum toilet.
