The Embraer Legacy 650 is a large jet that traces its roots to Embraer’s regional aircraft designs, offering an unusually roomy cabin for the money. Entering service in 2010, it extended the range of the earlier Legacy 600. Its three cabin zones make it comfortable for longer journeys with a larger group.
The Legacy 650 entered service in 2010 as a longer-range development of the Legacy 600, sharing the same airframe lineage derived from the Embraer ERJ-135 regional jet. It gave Embraer a true long-range large-cabin offering to sit above its midsize types.
Power comes from two Rolls-Royce AE3007A2 engines, with a Honeywell Primus Elite flight deck. The cabin is among the longest in its class at nearly 50 feet, arranged in three distinct zones with about 6 feet of stand-up height, a rear enclosed lavatory and roughly 3,900 nautical miles of range.
