The Falcon 900LX is the latest in Dassault’s three-engine Falcon 900 family, a design known since the late 1980s for its efficiency and ability to use short runways. Introduced in 2010, the LX added winglets for greater range. Its three engines and rugged design suit demanding routes and airports.
The Falcon 900LX was announced in 2008 and entered service in 2010 as the flagship of Dassault’s long-running Falcon 900 trijet family. Its three-engine layout is a Falcon signature, giving added redundancy over long overwater legs and access to demanding airfields.
Power comes from three Honeywell TFE731-60 engines, with high Mach blended winglets by Aviation Partners that cut fuel burn and improve climb.
