The Falcon 2000LXS is part of Dassault’s twin-engine Falcon 2000 family, which first appeared in the 1990s and is prized for efficiency and short-field ability. Entering service in 2014, the LXS added winglets and improved slow-speed performance for access to demanding airports. It offers a wide cabin with long-range comfort.
The Falcon 2000LXS was announced in 2012, certified in 2013 and entered service in 2014 as a refined member of Dassault’s twin-engine Falcon 2000 family. It combined the winglet-equipped range of the earlier 2000LX with improved short-field performance, sitting below the trijet 900 series in the Falcon line.
Power comes from two Pratt and Whitney Canada PW308C engines, and the flight deck is Dassault’s EASy II system based on Honeywell Primus Epic. The widebody cabin has a flat floor standing about 6 feet 2 inches tall, lit by eighteen large windows, with a rear enclosed lavatory and around 4,000 nautical miles of range.
