The Citation Longitude entered service in 2019 as Cessna’s super-midsize flagship, offering a quiet, stand-up cabin and longer range than earlier Citations. It was designed for transcontinental and longer missions with low operating costs for its size. It sits at the top of the Citation family alongside the Latitude.
The Citation Longitude first flew in October 2016 and earned FAA certification in September 2019, with NetJets taking its first delivery in early 2020. It is the largest Citation and serves as the flagship of Textron Aviation’s Citation line in the super-midsize class.
Two Honeywell HTF7700L engines are paired with the Garmin G5000 touchscreen flight deck, which offers autothrottles, an emergency descent mode and available head-up display. The flat floor cabin stands 6 feet tall and holds one of the lowest cabin altitudes in its class at 5,950 feet, with an enclosed rear lavatory and a walk-in baggage compartment reachable throughout the flight.
