The Citation CJ4 is the largest and most capable member of Cessna’s CitationJet series, entering service in 2010. It offers a stand-up cabin, strong range for a light jet and efficient single-pilot operation. It bridges the gap between entry-level jets and larger midsize aircraft.
The Citation CJ4 sits at the top of Cessna’s CitationJet family and first flew in 2008, entering service in 2010. It stretched the fuselage and reworked the wing over its smaller siblings, giving more cabin room, greater range and higher speed while retaining the single pilot capability and easy operating economics of the line.
Power comes from two Williams International FJ44-4A turbofans, and the flight deck uses the Collins Aerospace Pro Line 21 avionics suite. The cabin seats up to eight passengers, offers a flat floor and a refreshment area, and has an aft lavatory that can double as an additional belted seat at full capacity.

What routes does it suit best? It suits longer regional and transcontinental trips for up to eight passengers, where its range and speed come into their own.
