The Challenger 605 is part of Bombardier’s long-running Challenger 600 widebody family, entering service in 2006 as the successor to the 604. It offers one of the widest cabins in the large-jet class along with dependable transcontinental range. Thousands of Challengers have been built, making it a familiar and trusted choice.
The Challenger 605 first flew in 2006 and entered service that year as an update to the Challenger 604, itself part of Bombardier’s enduring Challenger 600 series. It introduced a refreshed cabin, larger windows and updated avionics while retaining the proven widebody fuselage.
Power comes from two General Electric CF34-3B engines, with a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 flight deck offering large-format displays. The stand-up cabin is among the widest in its class, with a rear enclosed lavatory, and delivers around 4,000 nautical miles of range with typical loads.
