History

The Challenger 3500 is the latest evolution of Bombardier’s best selling Challenger 300 and 350 super-midsize line. Unveiled in 2021 and entering service in 2022, it keeps the proven airframe while adding a redesigned cabin, voice-controlled features and updated seats. It offers transcontinental range with a wide, comfortable cabin.

Bombardier introduced the Challenger 3500 in September 2021 and it entered service in September 2022 as an upgraded evolution of the Challenger 350, sharing the same proven airframe rather than being an all new design. It sits in Bombardier’s Challenger family as the marque’s super-midsize offering, below the larger Challenger 650.

Power comes from two Honeywell HTF7350 engines paired with the Collins Aerospace Pro Line 21 flight deck, which adds standard autothrottle and available head-up display with enhanced vision. The flat floor stand-up cabin measures 1.83 metres, or 6 feet, in height and holds a very low cabin altitude of 4,850 feet, and it introduced the Nuage seat with an industry first zero-gravity position along with a voice-controlled cabin.
